Fifth Third Bank is a US regional bank holding company headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, founded in 1858, serving customers nationwide through commercial, consumer, and investment banking. Its early-career program (the "One Bank Summer Experience") runs interns, externs, and co-ops through a structured 10–12 week experience with an in-person orientation, exposure to senior leaders, and real project work across finance, audit, risk, technology, and information security tracks. Interns commonly describe strong pay and direct access to executives and leadership, alongside real individual responsibilities rather than purely observational work, though the day-to-day experience can vary by team and department.
