Spectrum (Charter Communications) 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship running May 26 – August 6, 2027. Interns spend about 80% of the summer on department and team projects and about 20% on program experiences, including a kickoff conference, professional development sessions, networking, mentorship, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
Work with business analysts and developers to gather and document requirements for Spectrum's field tools; analyze operational data to improve technician productivity and field efficiency; map workflows with diagramming tools; translate stakeholder needs into technical language; use SQL, Excel or Google Sheets to validate, clean and visualize data; and support Agile tracking in Jira or Azure DevOps.
Majors: Business Administration, Business Technology Management, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Management and Organization.
Required: Rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028; currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; GPA of 3.0 or higher; able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events during the program; authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred: Requirements gathering and documentation (user stories, business requirements documents); process mapping with Visio, Lucidchart or Miro; stakeholder communication; critical thinking and structured problem decomposition.
