Job Description
Spectrum (Charter Communications) 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship running May 26 – August 6, 2027. Interns spend about 80% of the summer on department and team projects and about 20% on program experiences, including a kickoff conference, professional development sessions, networking, mentorship, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.
Help manage the installation, operation and maintenance of equipment supporting Spectrum's flagship platforms, and assist with critical infrastructure planning and day-to-day regional data center operations. Work includes power planning, HVAC planning, data center architecture and resource allocation, and Layer 1 cable installation and management.
Majors: Electrical Engineering.
Required: Rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028; currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; GPA of 3.0 or higher; able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events during the program; authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred: Data center critical infrastructure skills: power, HVAC, cable planning and project management.
