2027 Summer Intern: Data Science

Spectrum (Charter Communications) 2027 Summer Internship Program. This is a paid, full-time, 11-week internship running May 26 – August 6, 2027. Interns spend about 80% of the summer on department and team projects and about 20% on program experiences, including a kickoff conference, professional development sessions, networking, mentorship, webinars, community service, cross-functional projects and final presentations.

Support Spectrum's accessibility team by turning accessibility-related data into actionable insights. Expected deliverables include a mapped view of disability-related ACS estimates across Spectrum's footprint, a documented dataset linking geography and accessibility metrics, a dashboard of assistive-technology feature usage trends, a comparison of external disability estimates with internal feature usage, and a final presentation with recommendations.

Majors: Data Science.

Required: Rising senior with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2028; currently enrolled at an accredited college or university; GPA of 3.0 or higher; able to travel locally to Spectrum intern development events during the program; authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred: Strong Excel and SQL; Python or R for data analysis; Tableau, Power BI or GIS/mapping tools; ability to work with census/ACS data; interest in accessibility, inclusion or product analytics; strong data storytelling.
