AI R&D Engineer Co-op

Join Nokia's AI R&D team to design, develop and deploy advanced AI/ML models and algorithms that analyze complex data. The co-op builds machine learning models for search, forecasting, text mining and other applications, develops agent-based systems for anomaly detection and root-cause analysis, and optimizes existing models and pipelines. Nokia is a global leader in network infrastructure, building the fixed, mobile, optical and IP networks that connect the world.

Requirements: pursuing a master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field at an accredited U.S. school. Skills in machine learning, optimization and deep learning; TensorFlow or PyTorch; search engines and vector databases; Spark, Kafka, Cassandra; strong communication and teamwork.

Details: 1 position; 4 months, January – May 2027; onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.

Pay: $23.55–$73.25 per hour.
