Verta is seeking a highly motivated CEO’s Office Intern to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership on a set of strategic projects during the summer. This is a hands-on role for a self-starter and critical thinker who enjoys solving problems, organizing complex initiatives, and working across teams.
The intern will support several high-priority internal initiatives and help drive them to completion over the course of the internship. The role offers exceptional exposure to executive leadership, business operations, and the infrastructure and telecommunications industry.
This position is in-person in Portland, Maine, working from Verta’s modern office at Cloudport.
Key Responsibilities
- Work directly with the CEO on several strategic special projects
- Coordinate with internal team members and external organizations to advance and complete project deliverables
- Support initiatives related to:
- Talent development programs
- Safety and operational excellence
- Compliance and internal governance
- New business process development
- Conduct research, analysis, and documentation to support operational improvements
- Track project milestones, organize information, and ensure progress toward deadlines
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and internal communications for leadership
- Help identify opportunities to improve internal processes and team collaboration
