Join the Finance team of American Tower's U.S. Tower division, which prepares and reports financial figures in line with GAAP. The intern supports several accounting teams and learns how a fast-paced business and its accounting organization operate. Responsibilities: assist with the monthly close; prepare account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries; apply GAAP with support from a team leader; help prepare financial reports; analyze operating statistics and financial data; support other departments with their financial information; handle ad-hoc requests. Requirements: pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or business with an accounting concentration (preferred); minimum 3.3 GPA preferred; interest in the CPA or similar designation preferred; must be within 18 months of graduation when the internship begins.
