As the Environmental Health and Safety Intern, you'll support SPX's mission of a Zero Harm workplace, contributing to environmental, health and safety projects across operations. The role offers exposure to compliance, risk assessment, communication and continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment, partnering with site leadership and the EHS team. SPX Technologies builds HVAC and detection and measurement solutions through a family of operating businesses. This is a paid summer internship for current college students (some postings also accept recent graduates).

The Continuous Improvement Intern helps improve manufacturing processes using Lean methods — analyzing workflows, identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements to boost productivity. Work includes time studies on assembly lines, developing standardized work procedures, and cross-functional collaboration on the plant floor.
