Lockton Re, the global reinsurance business of Lockton Companies, offers hands-on summer broker internships covering client relations, technical service and project management through a rotational program. Interns learn reinsurance basics; assist brokers in the production, design, analysis and administration of reinsurance programs; help prepare pre-renewal documents and underwriting submissions and track quotations; liaise with claims, accounting, contract and compliance teams; and develop and present a long-term project to the broking team. Lockton Re looks for students who are eager to learn, relationship-oriented, numerically literate, collaborative and strong communicators. No prior reinsurance knowledge is expected.
